The Game's "The R.E.D. Album" Review

After what seems like years of album dates for this album get'n pushed back The Game returns with "The R.E.D. Album". Ummm let's just get straight to it shall we...

Dr. Dre plays the narrator role to kick off the album which I'm ok with cause I love albums that have a theme to them. Then The Game spits furious bars on the opening track "The City" ft. Kendrick Lamar who reminds me of a young Ras Kass. But on track 3 "Drug Test" ft. Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg is where it immediately takes a f*cking nose dive smh. DJ Khalil's beat sounds like a old scraped Dre beat & Dre sounds boring as if he had better things to do besides spit'n a 16 on that wack azz beat. & Snoop spit like a 6 bar recycled from his Doggystyle album smh (Ed Lover voice) CMON SON!!!

The Tyler The Creator assisted, Weezy on the hook "Martians vs Goblins" is actually a breathe of fresh air considering the track right before it (Drug Test) was SUPER GARBAGE!!!

Track 7 "Good Girls Go Bad" ft. Drake is a dope track. Game shoots a lil diss at the reality show "Basketball Wives" when he spits "Drizzy, I'm sit'n here watching Basketball Wives, Like eeeeew those are pos to be Basketball Wives?" LOL I found it funny cause I tought the same thing (but that's a whole other story).

Track 8 "Ricky" Inspired by everyone's favorite hood flick "Boyz-N-The Hood" is actually nice track, musically & lyrically. The song has the BNTH samples throughout the track making u reminiscence on that faithful part in the movie when  Ladies Love Morris Chestnut aka Ricky got his head blown the f*ck off , damn. LOL calm down ppl it was just a movie.

"The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" & "Heavy Artillery" ft. Rick Ross & Beanie Sigel mos def keeps the album slap'n but ummmmm one question. When did B-Sigel become a Blood? This dude says yo Game "Wassup Blood" eeerrrrrrr pump ya brakes Beanie smh (Ed Lover voice...again) CMON SON!!!!

Track 11 "Paramedics" a solo performance by ATL'S own Young Jeezy seems waaaay outta place, like why was this track even put on the album? It's as tho someone was mad at Game & played a horrible trick on him by placing a Jeezy track on his Album without Game knowing anything about it #Weird

& just when things couldn't get more weird, the hardcore R.E.D. Album turns into the soft R.E.D. R&B Album O_O tracks 13, 14 & 15 "Hello" ft. Lloyd, "All The Way Gone" ft. Mario & Wale & the cheesy attempt at radio friendly sappy single "Pot Of Gold" ft. Chris "Slap-A-Hoe" Brown. Some rappers can get away with this, i.e. Tupac, LL Cool J, T.I., Rick Ross, just to name a few but someone like Game??? HELL 2 THA NO!!! (Ice Cube voice) Keep It Gangsta!!

Final Analysis: The Game is mos def one of the best MC's in the game today, not just the West Coast, but the rap game period, but garbage efforts like this makes me wonder if all those previous album delays for this album may have played a part in why this album really didn't live up to the hype. On that note I'm giving this album 2.7 outta 5 SLAPS. Do you agree or disagree? Lemme know in the comments below #Deuces
